Shooting Classes
Whether you're a first time shooter or just beginning, we can help you develop the skills necessary allowing you to enjoy and make your shooting experiences the best it can be.
Of course, shooting a firearm is what is known as a "perishable" skill. Meaning, you need to continuiously train and practicing in some manner to keep your skill in tune.
Training and practice doesn't mean you have to expend live ammunition. There are other ways to keep your skills up and when the time comes for you to use live ammunition
those moments are optimally utilized.
The classes last a minimum of 60 minutes but generally last longer. We also have shooting punch cards and small group sessions available.
If you do not already have a soild understanding of firearm safety, it is preferred that you take the Firearm Safety Class first before any of the shooting classes.

Reloading Classes
One of the greatest satisfactions is not only shooting a tight group with your firearm but, to know the ammunition used to make that group was built by you.
There are several companies that make very high quality ammunition for your firearm, but well built custom ammunition made for your spectific
firearm can and may out perform anything you'll buy off the shelf.
Even though you're dealing with gun powder and explosive primers, reloading your own ammunition can be very safe and rewarding as long as you respect
the elements involved.

Firearm Saftey List
Never point the muzzle of a firearm towards anything you do not, or are not willing to destroy.
Always treat every firearm as if it was loaded at all times.
Never take the word of another person that a firearm is unloaded or that the safety is engaged. Always Check Yourself to know the condition of the firearm.
Always keep a firearm unloaded until you are ready to make use of it.
Keep your finger off the trigger of the firearm until your sight picture and sight alignment is on the target and you are ready to fire it.
Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. Therefore: Never shoot at shadows and/or noises. Never shoot a firearm directly into the air or on an arched trajectory. Never shoot a firearm with the muzzle in direct contact with other hard objects.
Always keep a firearm holstered or pointed in a safe direction as to not sweep live or any unintentional targets.
Always use the proper ammunition designed for the firearm being used.
Always read any instruction manual and/or learn the mechanicals and handling characteristics of the firearm you are using before loading and firing.
Be sure the firearm is clean, obstruction free, and in working order before loading and firing.
Do not rely on the firearm’s safety to keep it from firing. Your finger is the ultimate safety.
Be aware of your surroundings when handling a firearm as to not trip, fall, lose your balance or drop a firearm and accidently point and/or negligently discharge the firearm at anyone or anything you are not willing to destroy.
If the firearm fails to fire when the trigger is pressed, hold your shooting position for at least 30 seconds: then with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, carefully unload the firearm.
If the firearm discharges, but the sound of the bang isn’t normal, stop firing and do a field strip on the firearm and make sure the barrel is clear of any projectiles. This is known as a Squib round and happens when the ammunition is under powered and the projectile may get stuck in the barrel.
Always keep firearms stored in a safe or other locked container or use a firearms lock and out of reach of children or others that should not be handling a firearm.
